This group is developing a fledgling Makerspace in Fairfield where you can explore robotics, repair your bike, sew your own clothing...and make your DIY dream a hands-on reality.

SewAwesome has embroidery and cross stitch supplies! Stop in and enjoy doing a project. Several books too! Oh, and the FF public library also has books on needlework :-)

We had some fun last nite at the Fix-It Textiles event at the public library. Met some nice people, helped several with sewing projects and glad to have the opportunity to support the library and our community.

This 15" fabric tube is filled with plastic bags! It's a perfect way to store them, put the bag into the top and dispense at the bottom with a slight tug. Pick a piece of fabric and sew one up, you'll be glad you did!
