Sunday, March 31st, 2019: hosted The Beat Goes On, our major fundraiser for The Gift of Dance! The community came to together to celebrate with music and dance to raise money for our outreach program. So many wonderful, generous and dedicated people donated their time and contributed to making our first fundraising event a huge success!
The Gift of Dance Scholarship Program provides a dynamic and challenging curriculum for young dancers, ages 12 to 18 years, to develop their strengths, explore their talents and nurture their dreams through free classes in a variety of dance styles, within a supportive and professional environment.

The Gift of Dance Scholarship Program is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-­profit arts service organization. The Gift of Dance Scholarship Program was made possible by an initial $40,000 donation from Remi Fischer and her family. Remi was a middle school student at the time and passionate about dance. Her donation enabled Double Up Dance Studio to create The Gift of Dance Scholarship Program, a free dance program for students ages 12 years to 18 years old

The GIFT OF DANCE SCHOLARSHIP program is accepting applications for Fall 2020!!
The Program provides middle and high school students ages 12-18 from under resourced communities an opportunity to take FREE dance classes with professional dance instructors in an encouraging, safe, and dynamic environment
Our teachers are diverse, talented and dedicated. In this video challenges our student dancers with fun and engaging movements, formations and transitions. Thank you Maria for sharing your talent, knowledge and passion for dance with us!

OUR MISSION:
To develop and deliver engaging programs that educate, inspire, and motivate children and young adults.
Move To Succeed was founded in 2011 by brothers and professional dancers Paul and Brian Herman who began their commitment to public service in high school and have remained actively engaged in their communities throughout their professional careers. The Herman brothers believe strongly that they have a valuable message and an ability to inspire and ignite action and change in children and young adults. The programs offered through Move To Succeed are based upon their life principles of passion, dedication, work ethic, discipline, gratitude and commitment and are designed to provide learning opportunities that guide students to set goals, become engaged, and determine their own futures
