Some of our favorite moments from 'The 21' Fellows’ Coptic Heritage Seminar last week, where new friendships began and the heart behind the trip came into focus.
Now in Egypt, the Fellows are meeting the children at the center of this experience, turning preparation into connection.
Today, 'The 21' Fellows arrived at Coptic Orphans HQ, learning about Coptic heritage, meeting one another, and preparing to walk alongside the children and families in Egypt who are at the heart of this mission.

After traveling to Egypt with 'The 21,' Joy shares how deeply the children impacted her, especially through the intentionality and faith behind their prayers. Her reflection is a reminder that service is not only about what we give, but also about what we receive from the children and families we encounter.

Yesterday, we gathered at St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church in Charlotte, NC for 21 Martyrs: Legacy of Faith, held under the auspices of H.G. Bishop Peter.
Through the film The 21 and special reflections from Fr. Epiphanios, Fayza Estaphanous, and the widows of the martyrs, we honored the 21 men whose courage and faith continue to inspire the Church today.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to Jerome Ibrahim, one of our 21 Fellows, for helping capture the day.
As we continue to reflect on the Coptic faith, we remember the courage of the 21 and the witness that continues to inspire hearts beyond our own community.

Today, we celebrate the Coptic faith in Egypt, carried for 2,000 years through sacrifice, courage, and love for Christ.
Meet Demiana, a girl from Sohag who held onto her dreams and earned a scholarship to study Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering.
She never let her circumstances slow her down, and now she hopes to inspire other girls to believe in what is possible: “I want to be the reason for any girl to say, ‘because she did it, I can too.’”
