When we build with LEGOs, it's easy to think the big pieces are cooler or more important than the smaller pieces. However, every brick matters. The smaller pieces that appear more simple hold everything together. Without them, the whole build would fall apart. We wouldn't get the detail we aspire without them. Imagine trying to build a car without the small pieces! How difficult would that be?!
In the same way, we sometimes think we're the "big" LEGO pieces and we forget about how important the smaller ones are. Scripture tells us that we're one body with many parts (1 Corinthians 12:12-27). And when we give, it's important it is from the heart... God loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7). Going back to the time of Moses, he invited the Israelites to bring gifts to build the tabernacle (Exodus 35). Everyone brought what they hadâgold, stones, fabric, leather, and even their skills. But what mattered most wasnât the giftâit was the heart behind it. When we give our time, resources, or skills freely, we don't think about how big or small the gift is - our heart is set on Christ and how we can serve Him.
This week, how can we give God the credit for what we do to help further the kingdom? How can we focus on why we give instead of what we give?
Have a great week, CSBC Family!

Tomorrow is Sunday and we get the privilege of worshiping Jesus with our church family tomorrow!
During Sunday School, the kids will be learning about how God is the creator of the universe. The account of Godâs creationâby the word of his mouthâreveals that He is the all-powerfulâomnipotentâCreator. The evolution model of creation conflicts dramatically with the biblical creation account of Genesis 1. We must rely on Godâs Word alone for the truth.
Service is at 9am or 11am with Sunday School in between at 10am. See you all tomorrow :)

Itâs another Wednesday night Bible study! Today, the kids are learning about how Jesus taught about prayer.
Jesus used parables to teach his followers about prayer. The parable of the persistent widow taught that the disciples should pray always and not lose heart while awaiting the justice of the Lord. In the parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector, Jesus contrasted a self-righteous attitude of prayer with the humble repentance of one who recognized his sin and need for the Savior.
Dinner is a 6pm and lesson is a 7pm. See you there!

Yesterday we celebrated the resurrection of Jesus Christ where He defeated death. Jesus didnât stop there - he stayed on earth for 40 days before ascending to Heaven to be at the right hand of the Father; working and preparing His followers for the road ahead. After He rose from the dead, He knew that there was work to be done. Before ascending, He tasked His disciples with the Great Commission. He made sure that His followers knew their task... Make disciples. Preach the gospel. Baptize believers. Teach obedience. And knowâHe would be with them to the end.
Our celebration of Jesus isnât done after yesterdayâs Easter Sunday service. Like the disciples, we have work to do! How can we share the Gospel with our friends and family this week about the Lord we serve? How can we proclaim that the grave is always empty and should always be celebrated?
Have a great week, CSBC Family!

Happy Monday of Holy Week! As we lead up to Easter Sunday, I think of the faith I have in Jesus Christ. Not just with his miracles while he was walking on earth, but also his birth, death, and resurrection. It is through our faith we are made right with God and are adopted into His family. The beauty of this family is that people from all walks of life come together to care for one another. This week rejoice that, as believers, we are able to walk together through triumphs and trials.
How can your family walk alongside other believers and celebrate the empty tomb leading to Easter Sunday?

We hope everyone had a wonderful spring break and are ready to get back into Wednesday night services!
This evening, the kiddos are learning about how Jesus raises Lazurus. Jesus wasnât there when Lazarus died. He knew he would glorify God by raising Lazarus from the dead. But his disciples didnât understand until Jesus called Lazarus from the grave. Jesus is God and can bring the dead to life. He can also give eternal life to those who are dead in sin.
Dinner is at 6pm, lesson is at 7pm. See you soon!
Tonight we are going to learn about Jesusâ Authority Over Death.
Jesus demonstrated his authority over death by raising the son of a widow and Jairusâ daughter from the dead. He provided victory over death through his own resurrection. Jesus will ultimately conquer death at the consummation so that death will no longer exist.

This morning we will see how God Blesses Daniel! Four young men choose to obey God rather than man.
The king of Babylon chose Daniel and his three young friends to be taken to his palace. He wanted them to forget their home, their customs, and their God, and to serve him! The four young men refused to eat the rich foods sacrificed to idols and instead asked to eat only vegetables and drink water. God blessed their obedience to him and rewarded them with favor, knowledge, and wisdom.
