It’s hot as hell out and I don’t even know what I’m training for. Sound familiar? If you’re in the same boat hit the like button! And know this, not one time in my entire life have I regretted working out. All the miles I’ve ran, the weight I’ve lifted, have made me who I am today (mentally and physically!). Whether you have a fall season coming up or not, your future self will thank you for the work you put in today.

“Nick, will there be a fall XC season and should I be training?” This question hits me like a punch to the gut, never thought it would be a question that I’d be asked. Tbh, I don’t know if there will be a season. But I do know this, with 100% certainty, you should be training. Train for the upcoming season, train for the season after that, train for the love of the sport, for the camaraderie and community it brings. Train because we live in a dangerous and chaotic world, and one thing that you can control is the choice to lace up your trainers and do something wonderful for your mind and body. I’m training, I hope to see you out there.
