The Uwchlan Garden Club and the Uwchlan Township Historical Commission invite the community to the rededication of the National Garden Club Blue Star Memorial By-Way Marker, located at the historic Uwchlan Meeting House.

This ceremony celebrates both the 250th anniversary of our nation and the 270th anniversary of the Uwchlan Meeting House, while honoring the brave men and women of our Armed Forces—past, present, and future.

The Blue Star Memorial Program recognizes those who have served our country with dedication, sacrifice, and courage. The marker, originally placed in 2016 by the Woman’s Community Club of Uwchlan during the Meeting House’s 260th anniversary celebration, stands at a site selected by the Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania for its significance during the Revolutionary War.

Guests will enjoy:
✨ Light refreshments
✨ Historic Meeting House memorabilia on display
✨ A community tribute to our veterans and active service members

All veterans, active-duty military personnel, their families, and community members are warmly invited to attend as we come together to honor those who have served.

This is a free event. No prior registration required.

A meaningful piece of Township signage has found its way to a new home💙

We recently gifted a “Deaf Child Area” caution sign to Tommy Simpson in celebration of his 18th birthday. 🎂

The sign was originally installed near Tommy’s home in 2011 after his family requested it as a reminder for drivers to slow down, stay alert, and help keep their young son safe while playing outside.

Born deaf, Tommy received cochlear implants as a young child and has spent years exceeding expectations. Now entering his senior year at Bishop Shanahan High School, Tommy is a member of the National Honor Society, takes honors and AP courses, participates in athletics, and is involved in numerous school activities.

As Tommy prepares for his next chapter, the sign has become more than a safety reminder — it represents his childhood, resilience, and the journey that brought him here.

We’re honored to return this special sign to Tommy as a keepsake and wish him continued success for the future! 🎓
