This expansion marks a significant milestone in her journey, allowing her to offer her services beyond South Carolina and further establish herself as a trusted name in the bridal industry.
Maridadi Couture’s previous owner, Rita, has decided to retire after years of successfully running the business and providing expert alterations to brides in Pennsylvania. Emily is honored to continue the legacy Rita has built and looks forward to bringing her personalized touch to the shop’s loyal clientele.

About Emily’s Bridal Alterations: Founded by Emily, a Parsons-trained fashion designer, Emily Kotarski Bridal has grown from a local bridal alterations service in Charleston, SC to a trusted name in the bridal industry. Emily specializes in custom alterations, ensuring every bride’s gown fits perfectly and complements their individual style. She is now excited to spread her expertise to brides in the Northeast as the new owner of Maridadi Couture.

After much thought and careful consideration, I am excited to announce that I have made the decision to retire and pass the torch to a wonderful new owner for Maridadi Couture. As of today, Emily, the owner of a successful bridal alterations business in Charleston, SC, has acquired Maridadi Couture. Emily is an incredibly talented fashion designer, a graduate of Parsons School of Design, and has built a reputation for exceptional bridal alterations.
I have been so fortunate to have worked with so many beautiful brides over the years, and I am incredibly proud of the legacy we’ve built together here at Maridadi Couture. However, the time has come for me to step back and enjoy a well-deserved retirement. I can say with full confidence that Emily will continue to provide the high level of care and craftsmanship that you’ve come to expect from us.
