It's hard not to get excited when the corn starts taking off.

Almost knee high by the 4th of July and looking good so far. We still have a ways to go, but we're already dreaming about fresh-picked sweet corn, sticky fingers, and summer nights.

If all goes well, sweet corn will be making its way to the stand later this summer.

For everyone who's been asking when we'd have vegetables... today is the day.

Fresh lettuce, radishes, and chives are now in the stand, along with eggs, applesauce, pickled radishes, and our herb blends.

Fresh peonies on the table, a new hatch of Rhode Island Red chicks in the brooder, hens scratching in the yard, and simple dinners at home.
