Beautiful day to ride, somber day for brotherhood, R.I.P SSG Chris Potts & SGT Russell Collier.

Today the Redlegs Motorcycle Association visited the Nathanael Green Museum for a little RI history, then off to the Dare to Dream Ranch

The Redlegs donated $500 to the Dare Dream Ranch, a special place for Veterans. We toured the ranch and made some friends!

We closed out the day with a toast to Potts & Collier.

Cheers to our brother Russell "Doc" Collier, who today, October 3, 2004, made the ultimate sacrifice, laying down his life, trying to save our brother Chris.

You are forever an Honorary Rhody.

Cheers to our brother SSG Christopher S Potts, who made the ultimate sacrifice today, October 3, 2004 in Taji, Iraq.

Today also marks his 60th Birthday.

Gone but never forgotten, we love you Brother!!!

Well the weather didn't cooperate today but the Redlegs Motorcycle Association participated in the Cpl.Holly Charette Scholarship Foundation.

Rain didn't hamper Holly's birthday & the annual celebration today.We drove vs ride but great cause and proud to represent, plus we had a great steak dinner!

Gratefull to be a part of this group of hard chargers...hooray!!

Today, the Redlegs Motorcycle Association had our ride to retraced the historic march of the Providence Marine Corps of Artillery (PMCA), who were dispatched from Benefit Street Arsenal in Providence to Chepachet in pursuit of Thomas Dorr.

Our route followed their footsteps, making stops at the historic Waterman Tavern, the Pettingell-Mason House, and the Stagecoach Tavern.

In June 1842, the PMCA answered the sovereign call to arms to put down the Dorr Rebellion. Upon receiving intelligence that an entire division of the Rhode Island Militia was advancing on his stronghold at the tavern, Dorr realized his men and am******on were hopelessly depleted. To avoid capture, he fled into temporary exile in New Hampshire. This operation marked the very first time the PMCA saw active field service, though it would certainly not be their last. The Redlegs Motorcycle Association is proud to honor the lineage and enduring spirit of this historic American Regiment.
