Mountains + wildflowers + awesome people (from a recent ) also the recipe for a great day! I’m ready for the cool moodiness of fall but can’t figure out where summer went. My baby started kindergarten today and I loved watching all the dads cry as the kids went in the school. My son didn’t wanted pictures but I explained they weren’t for him, they were for me. I hike a mountain with a friend this week and we talked a lot about how to become the people we want to be. The choices we make in how we spend our time are important. Yes to one thing is no to something else we could have been doing. Our values should = our priorities. And sometimes simply reframing our thought can change our approach. I feel like I do a pretty good job of being intentional about building the life I want but I’m also constantly learning and evaluating. Grateful for the beautiful souls around me for all the lessons.

Cheers to almost spring time for the rest of the country and 2 more months of winter in CO ;)

One of my favorite mornings last month! If you've ever been out with Marc and I on a photoshoot at sunrise or sunset you know how frenzied we get when the light is hitting just right and we are framing up the shot. The color and texture of sunrise and sunset is so special and fleeting that it can often be hard to capture. Despite this, we are always grateful for it!

Sharing some work from our most recent commercial shoot. On our third day, we had some amazing weather and the opportunity to capture stunning mountain views in good light. Our guide Sam was so fun to work with and he took us on a tour of his favorite spots. We would flag him down every time we had a creative vision and it resulted in some of our favorite images from the shoot!
