Some reception details from a colorful wedding in Las Vegas, mostly on 35mm film. I can feel the balmy evening air on my arms just looking at these photos. Jack + Delaney + their magical weekend in the west Texas desert.

Friday in Marfa. Saturday in Terlingua. Sunday in Big Bend. 125 miles of WTX history, strewn with yucca and jackrabbits and blue-washed bluffs. Three days of Jack and Delaney and their kindness, their creativity, their devotion to their own history. Terracotta and candlelight under the full moon. Vintage Spanish veils. Custom desert embroidery. A car packed to the gills with extra cowboy boots and silk scarves, just in case.

You can pry landscape photos out of my cold, dead hands.

I took these photos of Danielle and Jacob 2.5 years ago, before I even knew what I wanted out of wedding photography, but they’ve stuck with me as some of my favorites of my career.
