Tomorrow is our Psalm Sunday celebration. In addition to strewing Christ's way with our palm branches, we will offer blankets, coats, and other clothes that will go to our neighbors in need through The Aid Bank at Trinity. If you'll be worshiping with us in the sanctuary, bring your items to donate. Or schedule a time to leave them with our church office!
Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!

Our beloved Frank from Shower to the People is still recovering from surgery. The shower RV will not be here Friday for showers until he is well enough to jump back in with both feet. We are thinking of you, Frank! Heal well.

Join us TONIGHT at a Lenten soup supper followed by worship at Trinity Lutheran. This is a great opportunity to worship and mix and mingle with our partner congregations. We hope to see you there at 5:30pm for the soup, 6:30 for the worship.

Frank, operator of Shower to the People is having back surgery and will be unable to bring the shower truck to us this Friday. We are hoping that the surgery and rest will get him back in working order to continue this very important ministry. We are praying for you Frank!

We hope you will join us tomorrow, Wednesday, February 18th, for a combined Ash Wednesday worship service with Central Lutheran, Faith Lutheran, and The Gathering.

The Shower to the People shower RV will be at TAB this Friday, February 13th, from 10:30am till 12:30pm for those in need of a shower.

Pastor Tim arrived safely this morning at The Lutheran Center, the ELCA headquarters in Chicago, for a training on the church's process for raising up deacons and pastors.

The Sunday we last sang "Lift Every Voice and Sing" ( #841 in our hymnal), our livestream cut out before we had shared this hymn often known as the Black National Anthem. So Pastor Tim put together a YouTube playlist of several different versions of the song for us to explore. As we honor Black History Month and prepare to sing this as our Hymn of the Day on Sunday, you are invited again this year to receive this hymn in all these diverse expressions. May we join in its prayer for God's liberation, empowerment, and guidance.
