What community events are you excited for this summer?

Our Globe youth painted these fun rocks at a recent Wednesday night meetup. Self-expression with a side of usefulness, these fabulous paperweights will come in handy holding down all stickers and flyers we are handing out at the Pride events this month.

As we begin Pride Month, we are celebrating the strength, joy, and connection that grow when people come together in affirming and inclusive spaces. Pride is a time to honor identity, uplift one another, and recognize the importance of communities where 2SLGBTQIA+ youth, families, and community members can feel seen, supported, and valued.

Support for dignity, safety, and fairness is not a fringe position. According to GLAAD, 74 percent of registered voters support candidates who reject discrimination against LGBTQ people.

That matters.

It is a reminder that most people believe in the freedom to live openly, safely, and without fear.
