Another perfect day on the water!

Greenlake Spring Regatta 2026. One for the record books. Mill Town had their first novice rowers racing. The day started out brisk and beautiful, but by the time the 2nd boat came down the course we had a snowstorm and wind.

2nd place for Andy and Serge in the Men’s 2x! Great race guys!

Deb, Maddie, Carlean, and Jessica in the Women’s 4x got to experience 3-4 regattas in one as there was a false start along with the complete weather change during their race.

What a beautiful brisk day for a regatta at Greenlake!

The great tug of war training has begun!

After the Slush Cup had finished, there was an on the water protest. The line judge, chief referee, safety launch driver, and video recording engineer had a meeting about the protest.

They all have ruled that the USRA rules of raccing do not apply during the Slush Cup and that the women’s eight who did in fact leave the start line early (quite a bit early), still managed to get their bow ball to the finish line before the other boats and therefore are the winners of the Slush Cup with an *️⃣ of a firm finger waggled in their direction for such a dastardly tactic of leaving the start line early.

Great racing today ladies and gentlemen. You are all champions in the Mill Town book.

The 9th annual Slush Cup is 90 minutes from the start. This is going to be a barn burner! Race time 8:10am PST.

We will sell you the seat, but you’ll only need the edge!

The Slush Cup is next Saturday the 28th of February. Will you be ready?
