Just a few photos taken today of what's currently in bloom around here. I'm still learning plant names, so some of them aren't labeled. 🙃
The mock orange smells SO good! And that "little visitor"? He thought he was "hiding" in my front yard. Yes... I need to mow. 😆
Not pictured are all of the weeds that are happy and healthy around here, too!

Freya and Isla... we're working on halter training and grooming. 😊
We finally have most of our dahlias in the ground for this year (yay!) This means we have a more exact list of our remaining tubers. If you're looking for any more for your garden (or for a friend), I've attached our list below. We're asking $3 each, and these are available on a first come, first served basis. I'll be around most of today, tomorrow (Friday), and Saturday for any local friends who want to stop by. If you can't make it in the next few days but still see something you'd like, just let me know and I'll set it aside for you. :)
Happy gardening, friends! :)
Thanks to everyone who showed interest in our dahlia tuber giveaway! If your name was drawn, please contact me to arrange pick-up or delivery.

Mylen has been enjoying our baby animals SO much this year! Today is the first day we let Dolly's babies outside to play. At nine days old they are just SO CUTE! 🥰
Emma and Delilah were excited to meet them on Saturday, also. 😊

Sometimes you simply have to pause and breathe in all the good. ❤️

Four weeks ago we were blessed with two healthy litters of Rex babies (kits). Both of these were first-time moms. Psycho had 8 babies (one passed away on day three), and Fire had nine (they're all still doing well). It has been so fun watching them grow!

Today was the first time I've paid a shearer to come out and shear our sheep and goats (and trim hooves). It's SO nice to have that all done! I feel spoiled.

A couple of recent "wins".
1) Bees are back. On Saturday I picked up a package of bees in order to start again. Unfortunately, while I was installing them, the queen managed to fly away. She was marked (had a light spot of paint marker on her back). I waited a couple of days to do an inspection to see if she had returned. While I didn't find the original marked queen, I DID find another queen. (Yay!). The hive is currently very calm and looking so promising.
2) We have begun separating our lambs from their moms at night in order to have higher milk production in the morning. Yesterday, I milked 1.5 quarts. Most of this was from Katla (the most I was able to milk from her previously was about 3/4 cup). This is SO encouraging!!!
How about you? Do you have any recent "wins"?
