Fiber Nutter
Yes, I am a Fiber Nutter. This site is a collection of the various items I create with Fiber. The majority of fiber crafts are made with this fleece.
I study and prepare wool fleece and alpaca then spin and weave the fibers. I am a member of the SCA and go by the name of Emma Compton. I study and recreate medieval methods of cleaning and preparing wool and alpaca for spinning and weaving. I have a passion for all fiber crafts and prefer weaving. Most of the crafts I learn are self-taught and I enjoy teaching others.

This isnt exactly fiber, but the beginning of my love for weaving. One of the first crafts I started when I joined the SCA. 5 months later, I donated 5 necklaces to the fighters at Ursulmas as they needed prizes.

This is a Leclerc Cendrel Inkle Loom.
As floor standing Inkle Loom, the Cendrel allows the weaving of
projects up to 6" wide and 16 feet long.
It currently sells for $285 new. Since I bought a band loom, I haven't used it for a couple years. Hate to see it sit. Perfect condition. Will part with it for $125.
Inkle looms are ideal for creating belts, guitar straps, tray-holders, pet leashes and other belt-type items.
Unable to ship. Located in Everett for pickup. Can possibly meet up if local.
