This kitchen refresh is an example of how even a beautiful custom built home can age out of its family.
The layout was was still chefs kiss but yearned for a few cosmetic updates. New cabinets, a larger sink and a very high profile backsplash selection were amongst the handful of changes that maintain the soul of the home. Another wonderful collab with

This old house is getting its refresh but we are not tearing out the original laundry shoot or replacing the original switch plates. Each project is unique to its owner and how they like to live. I will never change something just to change it. Preservation is always at the core of my design process.

I tend to shy away from an accent wallpaper but there are some exceptions to the rule. In this home office case study our client wanted an energetic and dynamic space but also needed a calming effect for different stages of workflow. A sage trim and green grasscloth on the ceiling make the small space sing.

Deciding which projects will be photographed in a given year doesnt come easy. Oftentimes the moment simply slips away, life gets busy or a finished space feels good but isn’t as photogenic. My personal project felt like the right chance to capture a very clean house and also a photo of Mom. There are never enough photos of Mom right?

Loving this little chat table off the main seating area. Swivel chairs are a great addition to an oversized room where you need to bop around multiple conversations.

POV: A dinner party conversation leads to rerouting a doorway into the den—giving us back an entire wall for cabinetry (hello cocktail hour) and a far more intentional kitchen layout.

Corners in a kitchen are always tricky to design. In this space we added open shelving to display revolving collections and retractable doors to hide everyday appliances in a flash.
