The Strategic Plan and Priorities

The Foundation’s priorities are to:
1) support the District’s Capital Improvements Plan, which includes renovations of the school’s athletic, arts and academic facilities,
2) fund environmentally responsible maintenance efforts such as LEED certified renovations and the construction of a water reclamation system on the school grounds, and
3) create an endowment to support special academic programs and staff development.

The countdown is on! There are just a few days left in the ETHS Foundation fiscal year.

This year, our community celebrated remarkable milestones: groundbreaking for the new Studio Theatre, the largest campus update in nearly 60 years; memorable gatherings at WILD for ETHS and Homecoming; and the renaming of the Witherspoon Theatre in honor of former Superintendent Dr. Eric Witherspoon.

As we look ahead, your support makes these moments and future opportunities possible.

Make your fiscal-year-end gift by June 30 and help prepare Wildkits for success at ETHS and beyond. 🧡💙

🧡💙🐾 Congratulations to our new Certified Nursing Assistants!

We are proud to join in celebrating the ETHS students who earned their Basic Nurse Assistant Training (BNAT) Certificate through Oakton College, taking an important step toward careers in healthcare.

These students benefit from the Foundation-funded Health Sciences Center at ETHS, where students can explore 14 healthcare career pathways through hands-on learning, industry partnerships, and dual-credit opportunities. Through ETHS's partnership with Oakton College, programs like BNAT allow students to earn college credit, gain industry-recognized credentials, and build career-ready skills before graduation, helping them explore their passions and prepare for success in college, careers, and beyond.

Congratulations to these outstanding Wildkits on this impressive achievement!

The ETHS Foundation is proud to recognize Cathy and David Heldt for their generous investment in ETHS Softball.

Inspired by their daughter Frances’s experience in the program and made possible through a gift honoring Cathy's late mother, Anne Copps, the Heldt family's support is helping enhance the experience of current and future Wildkits.

Their contribution funded new backstop and third baseline netting, heating and air conditioning in the press box, and will help support a lower-level home run fence planned for next year.

Thank you to the Heldt family for creating opportunities for student-athletes and strengthening the future of ETHS Softball for years to come.

As the school year comes to a close, we’re reflecting with so much gratitude for the donors, alumni, families, and community members who continue to invest in ETHS students. 💙🧡

Since 2008, more than $28 million in support has helped transform over 50 spaces and projects across campus — creating opportunities for students to explore their passions, build confidence, and discover what’s possible. 🎓🏫

Every classroom updated, every program expanded, every opportunity created sends a powerful message to students: this community believes in you.

Thank you for continuing to shape the ETHS experience for generations of Wildkits. 👏
