3 Reasons to Buy or Sell a Home Today

1) Less competition. This means your buyers can negotiate a better deal. In turn, your sellers will be able to negotiate a better deal on their next home, likely offsetting the concession on their existing home.
2) Seller buy down. To attract more buyers, sellers can pay borrower discount points rather than reduce their list price. This provides a lower rate for the buyer, and the seller may be able to save thousands by not lowering their selling price.
3) Marry the home, date the rate. Rates are temporary, but a home could last a lifetime. Most homebuyers qualify for a refinance after 6 months, which means they can take advantage of lower rates when they come. If rates go up, they have the confidence they locked in at a lower rate.
