🎨 Turn This Rainy Day Into a Masterpiece!
Rainy days are the perfect time for our rising 2nd-5th grade Bulldogs to grab those summer sketchbooks and start creating! If your artist completes all the blank pages with quality, finished art this summer, they will earn a prize and an entry into our drawing for some BIG art prizes this fall. Let’s see that Bulldog spirit shine through your pencils and paints!

🎓 Celebrating Our 5th Grade Bulldogs!
It was a bittersweet and beautiful day, last week, as we held our annual 5th Grade Clap Out! Our younger students and staff lined the halls to cheer on our oldest Bulldogs one last time as they officially head off to middle school. We are so proud of the leadership, kindness, and hard work these students have shown during their years here at RRE.

☀️💙 Our front Spirit Rock is officially back and better than ever! For the upcoming school year, RRE will have TWO Spirit Rocks: one by carline and one in the front of the school so our bus riders can enjoy the fun too! 💛 Thank you to everyone who helped uncover & rehab the rock for use next year!

We can’t wait to see all the birthday messages, celebrations, encouragement, and Bulldog spirit covering them next school year.

🐾 Kindergarten Bulldogs Explore the Public Library! 🐾

Our kindergarten classes had a fantastic field trip to the Columbia County Public Library yesterday! Our little Bulldogs learned that while our school library takes a break for the summer, the public library stays open all summer long with amazing books, music, tours, and free family programs. Every student even received their very own library card, and parents learned tips for finding the perfect books at home!

Best of all, they use Beanstack just like we do, and they are hosting an exciting Summer Reading Challenge! We would love for all of our Bulldog families to join in on the summer reading fun.

Thank you Columbia County Library for a memorable and impactful field trip for our newest readers!

🎒 Navigating New Adventures: 6th Grade Orientation! 🧭

The middle school journey is just around the corner, and we want to help our rising 6th graders start off on the right paw! Riverside Middle School is hosting an orientation just for them on Thursday, July 23, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Our future middle schoolers will get to meet their new teachers, connect with classmates, and celebrate the exciting year ahead. Parents, please note that drop-off and pick-up will be right in front of the school.

🍦 Sweet Treat Alert: You can also pre-purchase ice cream or Italian ice for your student on RevTrak starting July 17 through the morning of orientation!
