A heartfelt thank you goes to Stephanie of Thiq Fitness for offering workout instructions that were simple to follow for all attendees. 🥰We anticipate a wonderful turnout at our fall event. Donations to aid our senior citizen and scholarship programs are welcome today.🎉

Generations for America is excited, another year for us to gather! Tickets are now available for the 2026 Mother Daughter Brunch.

Tickets are $40. There's an option to purchase $5 raffle tickets for door prizes and "Add a donation for Generations for America," if you'd like. That money comes directly to Generations for America.

When checking out, you do NOT have to pay the 17% (tip). Use the arrow/drop to change the amount to "Other" and leave the Contribution box blank. That contribution does not come to Generations for America.

Due to incredible community interest, GFA will host another Chair Exercise Fundraiser in the spring. Chair exercise is a low-impact class designed specifically for seniors and individuals with mobility concerns, making movement safe, gentle, and enjoyable.

This spring event will take place on April 11th, at Bethelpore Baptist Church (5757 Lee Road 179, Salem, AL 36874). The certified instructor Stephanie Quinones from Thiq Fitness will lead participants through a series of senior-friendly exercises focused on wellness and safety.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased from any GFA board member or by sending $10 via CashApp to $Gen4Ame with “Chair Exercise” in the note. Please make plans to join us in the spring for fun, fitness, and supporting a great community cause.

A massive congratulations to GFA scholarship recipient Addison McDaniel who was recognized today at the 75th Fort Valley State University Honors Convocation!

GFA proudly recognizes Dr. Jacqueline Allen Trimble who was recently named Alabama’s Poet Laureate. Dr. Trimble will be an ambassador, to promote and encourage poets within the state of Alabama for the next four years.

GFA had the privilege of having Dr. Trimble as our keynote speaker at the Mother Daughter Brunch in 2024. We congratulate her on this achievement and are excited to follow her journey!
