The Arcata Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for El Chipotle Cerveceria on Thursday, May 28. This was attended by Compass staff members, Kelsey Dunn, Area Manager and Bailey McCracken, Senior Loan Operations Specialist.

On Saturday, June 6, 2026, Esther and Janine were on hand at the Henderson branch assisting members with disposing paper documents at our annual free member shred day. We had a great turnout and look forward to next year’s event.

Compass was excited to help support and sponsor current member, Erin McBride, as she will be bicycling a 100-mile century ride, called America’s Most Beautiful Ride. This will take place on June 7th around Lake Tahoe, as she raises awareness for Blood Cancer United. This nonprofit organization is working to find cures for blood cancers of all kinds. Way to go Erin!

Don't forget, Compass members are invited to bring up to 3 boxes of paper document to be shredded for Free! This Saturday, June 6th, from 10am – noon, at the Henderson Center Branch.

Compass Community Credit Union has awarded three $1,500 scholarships to aid students in their quest for further education. Students were asked to provide several items, including an essay

"How the nominee has helped to further the ‘people helping people philosophy" that guide Credit Unions. Congratulations to, Tristen Titus, Kayla Maples, and Travis Way--recipients for 2026.
