Myer Family Racing
What better place for family time than at the track.
Jack was back in action at Red Bluff Outlaws on Saturday. The goal is always to make the show and that's easier said than done against the best of the best. Here is a few laps and a last corner pass to grab the last transfer and go straight to the A-Main.

Yesterday Adam wrapped up his summer season at Redwood Outlaw Karts in winning fashion. He started on the pole of the main event and battled a tight kart. He kept his elbows up and adapted on the track to make it work. He has grown so much as a driver this summer and he picked up some hardware to prove it. He won 7 out of 9 races on the way to a championship and rookie of the year. Jack has been such a great teammate and brother to help make those wins possible. He got to run yesterday as another warm up for Red Bluff Outlaws. He didn't disappoint and put on a clinic to pick up a win. Thank you to everyone at the track who makes it possible. It was a great season. Thank you to our sponsors Nor-Cal Automotive, Track Side Engines and our family. These kids are lucky to have you in there corner and on their team.

Well it's been awhile since both Myer boy's raced together. Jack has been an absolute killer of a crew chief for Adam this year. His hardwork has helped Adam to a sizeable points lead. Adam has done his job winning 6 out of now 8 A-mains. He continues to grow as a driver. Both boys went quick time and won there first heat. The rest of the day left a little to be desired. The boys battled a rubber down track that made passing difficult. Jack finished third and Adam finished 4th after being spun in a racing incident while battling for the lead. The other driver was nice enough to come over and apologize but it wasn't necessary. For us racing is about lessons that serve you well in life. Yesterday the boys learned hard work can make you fastest on the track but nothing is guaranteed. Thank you to all the volunteers at Redwood Outlaw Karts for all the hard work. Thank you to our sponsors, Nor-Cal Automotive, Track Side Engines and all the family that helps makes it happen. Next week is the last race of the year and hopefully Adam can cash in a championship. Jack will get one more warm up in the 500 before Red Bluff Outlaws gets going.
Race day at Redwood Outlaw Karts was a blast as always. Unfortunately Adam finished second in the main event to break his streak of six straight main event wins. Derek Fonsen set his kid to kill and boy did he deliver the pressure to Adam. Congratulations on an awesome race. All was not lost on the day as Adam was quick time in qualifying and won both heats. The Nor-Cal Automotive Track Side Engines QRC was fast all day but finished just short of the sweep. Thank you to all the volunteers that make it happen and to our family for helping keep this kid in contention race in and race out.

Proud of the work these two put in. After watching gopro footage of last race some discussion was had about leaving some speed on the table. Crew chief Jack fired up iRacing for Adam and coached him up. A huge reason we do what we do with these boys is so they learn about things like hardwork and fighting complacency. Toughness was a lesson this weekend. Adam had a hard hit in heat race 2 that left his elbow pretty swollen. He showed his grit and toughed it out(big bad ass Bigfoot trophy might have been a motivating factor). Adam started front row outside in the main event and got a great start to take the lead. He once again made boring gopro footage and led every lap to take home Bigfoot. Thank you to our sponsors Nor-Cal Automotive, Track Side Engines and all the family that helps. Thank you to the volunteers at Redwood Outlaw Karts for all the time you put in making a great place to race.
It's race day! Bigfoot trophy on the line. Lets keep the momentum going.

Another successful race day in the books! 5 for 5 at Redwood Outlaw Karts. Competition was fierce today. Qualified 2nd quick. First heat race had a great start to take the lead from outside front row but a caution came out and it wasn't meant to be. Finished 2nd. 2nd heat race Adam started in the back row and after being involved in a early yellow he marched his way back to another 2nd place finish. The consistency paid off and as the top points driver for the day he rolled a 2 that started him outside front row again for the main. This is where the Track Side Engines tillotson earned its keep. Adam got a great start pulled everyone down the front stretch to take the lead. That was a lead he would never give up. Race went green to checkers for another win. Thank you to all the volunteers that make it possible for all these kids to get a chance to be race car drivers. A special thanks to one of our biggest supporters since the early days, Brad Curtice. Thank you Shannon McCartney, Richard Reagan and all the family that helps. Maintenence tomorrow to get ready for the 2nd of August.

Make that 4 in a row! Driver and Crew Chief did a great job today. Seeing these two working together towards a common goal is a sight to see and tough to beat. Adam started the day by going quick time in qualifying. That put him on the pole for heat 1. The kid did his job and won it. That Track Side Engines Tillotson was making power all day which helped him work through the field in heat race 2 for the win. Adam rolled a 1 as top points Driver through both heats. Started pole in the A-main and let me tell you the competition was not making it easy but he led every lap and swept the day! Thank you to all the volunteers at Redwood Outlaw Karts and thank you to the family that helps us all year.
Myer Family Racing would like to thank Track Side Engines for joining the team. This is a tough one to announce due to the fact that if you are running these engines you are definitely going to have the power you need. Shhhh don't tell the competition. As much as the power is awesome Kirk is the man and you will have a serious racer in your corner. Thank you for the help over the years.

We would like to thank everyone at Redwood Outlaw Karts for a great day of racing. The #17 was rolling again today, although it wasn't smooth sailing all day. Adam went quick time to start the day and led all but the last lap in heat race number one. As is apparently a tradition now he got caught up in an accident and tore the RF off the kart. He started in last for heat race 2 and made a last turn pass coming to the checkered flag for the win! Started outside front row in the main event and led every lap for his 3rd main event win in a row. From the manure bin to the winners circle. Thank you to our sponsors and all the family that helps us. Maintenence tomorrow for the race next weekend to try and make it 4 for 4.

The #17 is on a roll. That's 2 A-main wins in a row. Thank you to all the volunteers at Redwood Outlaw Karts for a great race day. Thank you Nor-Cal Automotive for lending us an engine. Thank you Nana and Papa John. If anyone wants to help this kid, sponsors are welcome. We need our own engine and clutch. To be honest the kids on rails and using up tires. Any help would be appreciated. If you would like to help, reach out and get your name on this kart!
