Update: (6/30/23) Things are moving fast. We still have some great items, but many things are already gone... We'll be adding more stuff for free in the next couple weeks! Because so much has already been taken, we will not be open tomorrow, July 1.

Free office equipment and supplies!

Adoption Horizons is closing and we have FREE stuff from our office to give away. Please see pictures for what is available. We have some office supplies, toys, a desk, filing cabinets, and some furniture. Items are generally well loved, but you cannot beat the price – FREE!

We will be doing the give-away this Friday June 30 from 10am – 2pm. Items are at the office of Adoption Horizons located at 10 W. 7th St, Suite F in Eureka. We are located on the corner of “7th” and “A” streets in Eureka (Above A1 Cleaning and Davidson Brothers Lock and Key). Enter in the center of the building and go upstairs, there will be signs directing you.

Unless you are disabled or loading items, we request that you park on the street as there is limited parking for all of the tenants in the building.

Adoption Horizons is CLOSING!

In July 2023, Adoption Horizons will officially close after 41 years of service to 23 Northern CA Counties. It’s been such a pleasure to serve the nearly 1,200 families!

Your family files have been transferred to the California State Department of Social Services in Sacramento, or mailed back to your child’s agency if it was a cooperative placement.

Hello Friends and Supporters,

After over 40 years of service to families in the Northern California region, Adoption Horizons is closing. As part of our closure we are giving away office furniture and other goodies. This Thursday – Saturday we will be here for people to come and get stuff that they want. More details and pictures will be posted tomorrow, so keep an eye out for it!
