Humboldt Bay Officials Association We train, test and evaluate our umpires, and expect them to be professional in behavior and appearance at all assignments.
The Humboldt Bay Officials Association is accredited with the California Officials Association and carries liability insurance for the association and its members. We appreciate the opportunity to continue to provide umpiring service for the Humboldt-Del Norte League.

We need officials for all ages! If you don’t step up it’s simply put we won’t have sports for these kids in the future.
HBOA would like to thank everyone who attended the clinic today. There was a lot of interest becoming an Umpire in softball and baseball today, that’s amazing when we’re in crisis for officials locally and nationwide. We have amazing county that we live in. HBOA would like to thank Cecil and Chris for being our instructors today. Our mission is to have a clinic every year like this one. Thank you again for participating.
