Excited to celebrate a local hero and fellow woodworker Eric Hollenbeck (Blue Ox Millworks)at the Eureka Theater tonight. It’s the premier of his show on Discovery+ and the Magnolia Network. If you look closely you may spy our company logo sported by Ryan Barlow. It’s always an honor to preserve and restore our local historic home but getting to do that work and gain some recognition for our trades is even better.

Here is something new! I’m excited to work with Art and the team of ABC on some upcoming projects.

This week we were privileged to participate in further restoration of the Monroe House alongside at the culmination of their 9 episode season celebrating Eric Hollenbeck as The Craftsman.

Ryan put it all on the line this time to reach the peak of the house 40+ feet from the ground. Kudos to him for his bravery and determination.

What an adventure this one was! 36’ to the top of the scaffolding and then higher onto the roof peak.

Almost there! Working on the last side! We tucked our traditional time capsule into the last piece of siding. It’s got the date and everyone’s name on it. But if you want more details you’ll have to buy the house and crack the wall open.

Done with side two and closing in on side three!

The customers are excited to have the additional fire protection from this cementitious siding and the metal roof.
