We started our company in 2003 which also happened to be the year we engaged to marry. Our company name became a symbol for our feelings about each other and our passion for music. Since 2003 we have evolved tremendously and have transcended the most common perceptions most people have of wedding Djs. It has been a while since I have shared video from our wedding Emcee / Dj work. This clip from Aug 27th 2016 is hands down one of Layla's best introduction speeches. The couple had submitted music selections to us for everything except their grand entrance. I texted the bride the day before their wedding and she replied with "I trust your judgement, surprise us with something epic!".....

Throwback Thursday 2008! This was the very first time we initiated a "Football" garter toss. Steve, the groom had told us he was a star quarterback during his college years. We hid the football under his bride's chair and once he wrapped it around the garter we queued up the "Monday Night Football" theme. One of my favorite moments ever in our career!

Our Story
We started our company in 2004 which also happened to be the year we engaged to marry. Our company name became a symbol for our feelings about each other and our shared passion for music.
Since 2004 our company has evolved well beyond the most common perceptions most people have of wedding Djs. We started out like most other DJ companies. We did what we believed we were expected to do, play music and announce activities. As we stumbled through our first two years we discovered that this approach was not working out like we had first envisioned. Since planning and directing were not a part of our job description, we were often taking direction by people who had no prior experience planning or directing weddings. We often times found ourselves improvising the best we could to make things flow smoothly while at the same time being careful not to overstep the bounds of our agreed upon role.
Luckily in 2007 all of that changed. We joined the American Disc Jockey Association and it turned out to be the best decision we could have ever made for our business. We got access to other Djs who were taking their businesses to new heights and were willing to share their success secrets. As a result we took our business to a level we never thought possible! We learned to break free from traditional expectations and gave ourselves permission to unleash our creativity. We in turn started encouraging our clients to also be as creative as they wanted to be. We began helping our clients build their event timelines and also took on a directing role. We also began conducting interviews with our clients and had them walk us through their backgrounds and their Love Story. We found that this put us in an excellent position to be effective spokespersons for our clients and better personalize their experiences. Ultimately this resulted in guests being entertained in a much more meaningful way and in turn provided an uplifting experience for our clients.
