Cherry Coffee Bus

Come join me tomorrow, Friday the 23rd, for a coffee pop-up at 301 Front Street next to The Hair Garage in Groom! Coffee starts flowing at 6:45 and will go until everyone is fully caffeinated!

What a week it has been! A full week of work on the beautiful Good Earth Organic Farm and Stables full of great times with new friends, good coffee, and amazing weather.

This weekend I ended up taking a gorgeous hike up to Spencer's Butte, taking my bus up the steepest grade yet, 14%! Handled it like a champ though 🤘 shout-out to Joe and Heather who gave me a warm Oregon welcome when I got to the top, I hope to run into y'all again!

The coffee pictured is a latte-like drink I made using the moka pot, a water bottle, camp stove, and French press and I got latte art of it! So crazy!

Experimenting this morning with mobile coffee techniques (this is a loose term, I'm basically just throwing things together and hoping something sticks 😂) and this one did! Made with a Moka Pot, a French Press for frothing, and some awesome oat milk this delicious cappuccino-esque drink is born. And all from a camp stove!

Last days of travel and arrival in Eugene!

Oregon is just...I can't put into words how beautiful this place is. Upon arrival into Eugene I was given a wonderful welcome in the form of a deluge, which seemed appropriate 😂. Day 2 I took a trip to Portland with a fellow WWOOFer and saw a stunning rose garden. Already having a blast!

Days 3 and 4:
Steamboat Springs, CO to Evanston, WY
Evanston, WY to Mountain Home, ID

Talk about beautiful country, WOW. Utah was everything I had hoped for and Idaho has surprised me with it's rolling hills nestled in between distant mountains.

The bus has shown no signs of fatigue to this point and I'm getting whopping 9-10 mpg 😳

I forgot to take pictures for day 1 since I have driven the drive so many times (Groom to Raton, NM) so here is day 2! Raton to Steamboat Springs was a beautiful but trying drive for my bus. 3 passes up and down made for a good test of my bus' ability and I am glad to report that it did well!

Thanks to my friend for showing me around and hiking with me, it was a great time! I'm excited to see what today brings, Steamboat Springs to Logan, UT! 🤙

Well folks I know I've been quiet but that's been because I have been getting ready to hit the road! As many of you know, I have decided to WWOOF on Oregon and will be driving my bus up over the next 5 days.

None of this would be possible without the love and support of my family, my partner, and my friends (including all of you wonderful followers 😊). A special thanks goes out to my parents, who allowed me to live and build my bus at their house, I truly cannot thank them enough! ❤️

Who knows what the upcoming days, weeks, or months hold but I'm sure it will be good, whatever not is! 🤙🤙🤙

In the midst of all my painting and staining I made the time to move the gorgeous espresso machine out the bus! This is one of the biggest days in the build so far it feels like, even if it's not operational just yet. More pictures to come soon!
