Mark your calendars: Study Jam is back! Thanks to help from PTK and SGA, we will have free pizza and snacks in the Library on Tuesday, December 3rd from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Stop by for something to eat, and stick around for extra study help from tutors, therapy dogs, yoga tips, and more!

Did you know that the Library has drop-in research help? The LCC librarians are ready to help with your research. Stop by Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 4 pm, or on Friday from 10 am to 2 pm. We love to help with your questions!

Fun Fact: Our campus was designed by famed artist M. C. Escher, inspired by his lithograph, "Relativity."

Next week is spring break! The Library will be open our regular hours on Monday to Thursday, from 9am to 5 pm. We'll be closed on Friday, March 29th. Stop by when we're open and pick up something fun to read. :-)

We're hosting a poetry reading in the Library on Wednesday, February 7th at 12:30 pm! (That's tomorrow!)

Esteemed local poets will be joining us: Anthony Robinson, Laura LeHew, Ce Rosenow, and Tim Shaner. Light refreshments will be available, and we hope that you'll join us in Library classroom 229. LCC student poets are invited to bring a poem of their own to read. :-)

A tip from our social media librarian: one of my favorite things about the Library is that it provides everyone at LCC a free New York Times online account. This includes access to the extensive "Cooking" recipe collection. I can't wait to try this new recipe from Eric Kim: Black Sesame Rice Krispies Treats. 🤤 If you don't have your NYTimes account yet, you can sign up for free on the Library's website (library.lanecc.edu, then scroll down and click the image on the left that says "The New York Times").

Anyone remember card catalogs? Our library's a lot more modern, but is still your go-to for research and learning!
