Summer photo sessions are in full swing! I love this stage of life where we catch the littles while they are on the go. Who has time to sit still?!

I can’t believe it’s been almost an entire week since Owen and Emily said their vows. You plan for so long and within a few hours it’s all over.

I’ve built A LOT of wedding day timelines throughout the years. I think one of the most common misconceptions about a timeline is the amount of time it takes for things. Here’s a few of my timeline tips!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Images of your invites, rings, menus ext all take time to style and meticulously agonize over. If possible, I love to do these the day before the wedding day. If not, I typically allow an hour to an hour and a half for these detail images on the day of a wedding.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. I allow for at least 30 minutes and the timeline for a bride to get into her dress, shoes, and jewelry. This is a one of the spots where everybody says “there’s no way it will take me 30 minutes to do all of this.!” But trust me, it will.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. First looks with your dad or bridesmaids, brother, grandparents ext are great. But they need to be in the timeline. Spending an extra 30 minutes on unplanned first looks can stress an entire pre-ceremony timeline.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I have loads more tips up on my blog! If you’re starting to think about your wedding day timeline you’ll definitely want to head to the link in my bio and check it out asap!
