Here's something most people don't realize until it's too late: your marital status has a significant impact on your Social Security benefits.
Whether you're married, single, divorced, or widowed — the right strategy looks different for each situation. And getting it wrong can mean leaving real money on the table.
As an OCCU member, you get free access to Silvur's personalized Social Security Calculator and more retirement tools. These resources are built around your life, not the average retiree's — and no advisor is required.
Already receiving Social Security? Silvur's Social Security Tax Calculators show exactly how much of your benefit is taxable and what that means for your monthly budget.

Recently, we had the pleasure of attending and sponsoring the University of Oregon Alumni Association New Grad Send-off event! We also had the honor of staffing the decorate-your-graduation-cap booth. This event is for celebrating the hard work and achievements of the newest batch of UO graduates. Thank you to UOAA for putting this together and congratulations to the class of 2026!

Recently, OCCU had the honor of being a new sponsor for the ALS Northwest Walk. ALS Northwest is dedicated to providing support and advocacy for people with ALS and their families, while also advancing research for new treatments and an end to ALS. 👏
We are beyond thankful for the work they do in our communities. Further supporting the ALS Northwest Walk were OCCU volunteers! We're thankful for them too!
