A big thank you to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Oregon for hosting another successful Bowl for Kids’ Sake. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, participants, and community partners, more than $32,000 was raised to support mentoring programs and help connect local youth with caring adult mentors.

We spent the day volunteering at Shift Community Cycles’ Free Bikes for Kids program, and it was such a fun, hands-on way to give back. Shift takes donated bikes, fixes them up, and gets them to people who need affordable, reliable transportation. You’ll see them around town hosting repair pop-ups, donation drives, giveaway days, classes, group rides and more.

It was great to roll up our sleeves alongside our colleagues and community members, all working toward the same goal: getting more people on bikes.

As one of the largest employers in Downtown Eugene, Summit Bank was proud to take part in the Community Solutions Summit. Jin Plummer, Business Client Advisor for our Eugene office, helped lead the Walk & Talk segment, highlighting the vital role local businesses play in a thriving downtown and Summit’s ongoing commitment to supporting our community’s growth and resilience.
