What a weekend! π Huge congratulations to everyone who participated in the Marathon races! Weβre so inspired by the energy, dedication, and community spirit on display.
Weβre especially proud of our CLC team: 23 incredible runners who came together to raise over $10,000 in just our second year with the Run for a Reason program. Your commitment to showing up for the miles and for young people means so much.
It was an honor to see you represent our mission, advocate for youth, and cross that finish line strong. This is just the beginning of our Eugene Marathon journey. We canβt wait to do it all again next year! πββοΈπ

Meet Team THIS, our 2025 codeORcreate winners. π A group of high schoolers from Eugene, Springfield, and Ukraine, who didnβt know each other before this experience, and walked away with new connections, a winning safety campaign, AND a presentation at the LTD Board Meeting.
Weβre so grateful to for sponsoring this competition and for continuing to invest in young people across Lane County. This is exactly the kind of experience we hope every young person gets: a chance to solve a real problem, expand their networks, and surprise themselves with what theyβre capable of. π
Swipe to see their work and presentation!

Our recent Sewing with Spark event was a total blast! πͺ‘𧡠We spent three days watching these amazing makers learn, create, test, and enjoy community with others!
They learned how to use and troubleshoot sewing machines, practice hand-sewing techniques, and designed their own project with guidance from our staff and peer mentors.
One of our participants shared βI noticed that I am more patient with myself, especially when things donβt go the way I planned. It changed how I see myself as a creator, because now I feel like I can take on more challenging projects and finish them.β ππΌ
Weβre so proud of this group and how they learned to challenge themselves with new techniques and explore the world of sewing!
