⚾️ What a night at the ballpark! ❤️
On Sunday, Every Child Lane County was honored to be the Community Spotlight at the Eugene Emeralds game! 💚We loved celebrating alongside families, supporters, and kids from across our community.
A special highlight was watching the Bess family throw out the first pitch—a meaningful moment representing the incredible families who open their hearts and homes to children impacted by foster care. 🥳
🐮 We're also so grateful to Chick-fil-A Gateway and Randy Pape Beltline for providing 105 game tickets so families caring for children impacted by foster care could enjoy a fun night together at the ballpark.
From cheering on the Emeralds to making friendship bracelets with kids throughout the game, the evening was filled with laughter, community, and belonging.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this special evening possible. Together, we're creating a community where every child and every family feels seen, supported, and valued. 💙

👋 Hey, NeighbOR! Can you help? 💚
This sweet little boy has recently been reunified with his parent and is settling into a new chapter of life together. 🥳As he grows and becomes more adventurous, baby gates are needed to help keep him safe while he explores his home.👶🏼
A simple gift can provide peace of mind for a parent and create a safer environment for a child during this important transition.
Thank you for being a community that shows up for children and families when they need it most. 💙

💙 Mobilizing our community to show up for kids and families! 💙
On June 5, Convergint partnered with us for their annual Social Responsibility Day, and 16 of their Eugene employees jumped in with incredible generosity and hard work!
They refreshed two large ODHS visitation rooms with fresh paint and even donated a brand-new couch to help create a more welcoming space where families can connect.
They also spent the day transforming the yard of a local resource parent—repairing fencing, clearing overgrowth, and spreading new bark and playground chips to create a safer, more beautiful place for children to play and heal.
This is what community looks like. When we all bring what we have, kids and families experience hope, support, and belonging. Thank you, for investing your time, talents, and hearts into our community! 💚

For these kids, soccer is more than just a sport—it’s a chance to stay active, build friendships, and experience some normalcy during a challenging season at home. Would you help get them on the field?

Hey NeighbOR! 💛
A child recently welcomed into a new resource home is in need of a high chair to help support safe and comfortable mealtimes. As this child adjusts to a new environment, having this essential item would help meet an important daily need.
