Announcement:

I have thought long and hard about how to make this post. After numerous conversations with my family I have decided that it is time to move on to my next stage in life. As of September 24th I will be closing Hometown Barber Shop for the foreseeable future. It comes with a heavy heart that I have to make this decision however I have responsibilities outside of work that I must tend to and they have taken up to much of my time and have been unable to be as reliable for my customers as I should be. However making this decision allows me not only to make sure my family is taken care of but gives me the opportunity to Retire early and see where life takes me from here. I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of you for supporting myself and Hometown Barber Shop over the years. I have truly enjoyed getting to know all of you. The conversations, the laughter and just your overall friendship has shaped me in ways I cannot explain. Thank you for that. Please stop in one last time before September 24th. I would love to say goodbye to you all one more time.

Days and hours for the week of the 25th! Other than this Tuesday these hours will stay the same from now on! I know that closing at 3 is a terrible time for most working people, but it is what needs to happen for my family! Thank you for always understanding!

Had to close early for dr’s tests! They don’t give much notice these days!

Hometown Cuts days and hours for the week of August 18th! Thank you all for always being so patient with my hours. This week I have a few Dr’s appointments I need to get scheduled for family! So please be mindful of my closing schedule this week! More than likely it will change, but I won’t know until I make calls!

What a crazy morning today was! Thank you for all of the messages letting me know the electricity was back on!! Also a special thanks to my customers who patiently sat in the shop waiting for me to get out of the bathroom, or wherever else they thought I might have been hiding🤪 You know you live in a great town when you accidentally leave the door unlocked to your business, and don’t get robbed blind🥴😳🤦‍♀️🤪🤣 A special thanks to Shawna for trying to help out with the situation!! I just keep repeating to myself “tomorrow will be better”!!

Electricity is back on, but now I have to wait for the washing machine to get done🥴. First world problems 🥰🥰 Let’s shoot for 10:30 am!!!!
