What not to do when filling a washer. This washer was so stuffed, no clothes moved during the cycle from their position seen, nor could you see any water as the clothes soaked up every last drop, leaving none to move around in.
Always remember, leave room near the top of the drum for movement of your items, and the best wash possible.

From the economy washer, the new ‘Super Spin’ 25lb washer, to the new larger capacity 35lb Titan, these wash your clothes in record time, and with less soap needed. Come and check them out for yourself!

It was a snowmageddon kind of day the last two days , with early closings and late openings.
But we have passed the worst of it and are back to our scheduled hours. We thank you all for your patience, and we look forward to having you back at our laundromat shortly.

We upgraded two of our 40lb washers to 50lb & 60lb washers, both with ‘express super spin’. They spin out more water, allowing you to dry your clothes faster.

To our valued customers of Shore Center Laundry, and an update on the concerns of COVID-19, we will be remaining open and keeping our standard hours, until such time as State or Government restrictions dictate otherwise.

We are also supporting the Coin Laundry Association (CLA) and their efforts to ensure laundromats are designated as "Essential Services" during the COVID-19 outbreak. This would prevent laundries from being subject to the curfews and closures impacting other public services as we want to ensure that you have access to cleaning your belongings. We value your health, your families and your communities health and encourage you to continue your normal laundry habits, as good hygiene will help keep you and your loved ones healthy.

Steps we have taken:
- hourly wipe downs of all surfaces with multiple cleaners and disinfectants.
- constant maintaining of hot water to all washers & maximum heat to all dryers.
- providing assistance to each and every customer with regard to the best use of each washer and dryer.

Tips when washing and drying during this time:
- Use The Right Amount of Soap
Too much soap creates excess suds that cause dirt (and the virus) to remain trapped inside fabric. The right amount of soap will properly clean and be rinsed from your clothing. (1/2 of normal recommended)
- Utilise the Plus Cycle or Super Wash
Add more wash time or rinse time to your wash to ensure even better cleaning.
- Use hot water whenever possible and the hottest dryer settings when feasible.
