Happy 235th anniversary to the U.S. Coast Guard and , as our nation recognizes 80 years since the end of WWII. Our favorite veteran, Ena Slaughter, now celebrating 100 years young, shares her insights from V-J Day. She is featured at the San Diego Air & Space Museum Spirit of '45 event this past weekend and all week leading into this monumental time!

‘Spirit of ‘45’ marks 80 years since end of WW2 | 100-year-old veteran shares her experience Dozens of World War II veterans and Rosie the Riveters will gather at the SD Air and Space Museum August 10 for the largest "Spirit Of ‘45" event in the country.

Today, this Memorial Day, our favorite veteran, Ena Slaughter, was aboard the USS Midway remembering those we lost. At 100, Ena is wearing the US Coast Guard medal of service presented two weeks ago on her birthday. So many, who served and gave all for our freedom, are in our hearts today.

LCE stopped by to wish our favorite veteran a very HAPPY💯th birthday today. What a celebration for Ena Slaughter, even declared by the County of San Diego that today is officially Ena Slaughter day, topped off with a visit and salute from the US Coast Guard!

9/17/1999 = the first day of Park-Tours incorporation and that means today is our 25th birthday since coming up with that very first location-aware app to improve Guest experience in theme parks and other fun places! After a decade devoted to developing that app for zoos, museums and more, it was time to pivot and grow Left Coast Engineering, where we are always ahead of the times in product development. Thanks to so many clients, friends, and suppliers who wished us well today!

You Are Here! Day 2 ...how many steps? Not sure but made through five vast halls. LG Electronics has new see-through video panels, saw a mermaid at a pool robotics booth, lots of new medical monitoring tech and of course had to capture a few angles of the new Vegas "Death Star", the Sphere!

Wrapping up October's National Women's Small Business Month U.S. Small Business Administration after a very cool time exhibiting at the Anaheim Electronics Show and a busy October delivering a variety of new products to the DOD. Thankful for our dedicated team, both here on the show floor and back at HQ, reaching new frontiers in R&D product design!

Amazing for some of our Left Coast Engineering team to get to judge the San Diego Young AFCEANS Science Fair with intriguing projects presented by middle and high schoolers today. Lots of hard work from those students and we applaud their successes!
