"This is motherhood summed up in one photo. We went out to a restaurant to feel some semblance of normalcy. Our newborn is crying because he’s hungry and I’m leaking breastmilk contemplating nursing him in public, all while our toddler pulls on my hair and begs me to play with him. I have hardly touched my food. I’m hungry, overstimulated, and overwhelmed. But I try to remind myself that these are also the moments I’ll miss when they’re no longer little…to them, I am home. And there is nothing more magical (and challenging) than that"
