As noble as the Thessalonians were for receiving the Apostle Paul’s message as God’s Word, the Bereans took it a step forward and searched the Text of Scripture itself to confirm that his message was indeed “Biblical.”
Let us be like the Bereans by listening with a receiving heart, but verify the message by the Text of Scripture - Comparing Scripture with Scripture! 📖

The Apostle Paul commended the church in Thessalonica because they didn’t just receive his word as the word of men, but as the Word of God!!
Also, notice the ability of the Word of God - it “effectually works in you who believe”! His Word is a working word that transforms our lives! 📖
