Family friendly, family owned place for you to spent your vacation They knew that people in the Pittsburgh area loved to come to Erie and go to the beaches.

In the late 1950's, Tom and Marie Phillips along with Bert and Lois McCoy decided to leave the suburbs of Pittsburgh and come to Erie to start a business. The partnership decided that a motel near the airport and beaches of Presque Isle would be a good business venture. So, along with their sons, Tom Phillips, Jr and Mahlon McCoy, construction started. They didn’t have the start up money necessary
