"Good morning America, how are you?" 🚂

To quote Steve Goodman, and in honor of Big Boy rolling through Erie this morning, let's celebrate with our picks for the Top 5 Songs About Trains:

5. 🎼 Pacific 231 – Arthur Honegger
An orchestra transformed into a steam locomotive, building from a slow chug to full speed ahead.

4. 🎺 Take the "A" Train – Duke Ellington
Billy Strayhorn's jazz classic, celebrating the subway ride to Harlem and the sound of a city on the move.

3. 🎻 Orange Blossom Special – Traditional
A bluegrass showpiece that captures all the speed, whistle, and excitement of a train in motion.

2. 🚂 Chattanooga Choo Choo – Glenn Miller
The definitive swing-era train song—joyful, catchy, and impossible not to smile at.

1. 🚉 City of New Orleans – Steve Goodman
A heartfelt tribute to America's great passenger railroads and the people who rode them.

⭐ Bonus Track: Literally Any Song by Train, because, you know. (👀Pat Monahan)

What train song did we miss? 🚂🎶
