(Jack Stoker) “Being a captain for Coach Durk takes leadership and discipline. After experience for 3 years what’s the program was I got to step up and give my best advice and performance to the underclassmen. To make it to the western finals again means so much. It is a second chance to finish what we fell short of last year. Now we are going into the western finals with experience and confidence."

(Noah Reigel) "Being a captain since my sophomore year has been a blessing. It gives me the opportunity to lead by example and show my teammates what it looks like to work hard. Reaching the western finals again is awesome but that was the expectation. I want to get past that which no Mercyhurst team has ever done and it’s are time to make history. I will continue my baseball career at Gannon, but a state championship would mean much more than anything to me I want to win it for my fellow seniors and for Coach Durk"

(Hunter Krahe) "knowing what it took to get back here just makes it feel even sweeter. The countless hours of grinding, waiting and dreaming for one goal. But this year, it all felt so real, knowing i will be leaving for college soon makes this experience even more special. Getting to play baseball day in and day out with the best team and staff, I couldn’t ask for anything more. I expect nothing less than a championship run and i am so very excited to compete for history, but most importantly for each other."

(Zack Kruszewski) "Making it to the western finals two years in a row while being captain my senior year is truly a special feeling. To be recognized for our hard work is something to be grateful for but getting over the hump and making the state championship and winning it is the ultimate goal."
