Graduation (post #4) had our 8th graders making that final checkmark on their list!! What do we say about this Class of 2026? There are so many things that come to mind such as your laughter in the halls, your always striving to be the best in any and everything, your smiles and your silly jokes. Never being afraid to try something new or to start a new SLS tradition, always looking out for and helping our younger students and sharing your talents with not only your friends but all the students and staff.
We will miss your smiling faces, your always asking "what can we do to help" and your pride you have shown in being a Crusader!
Remember Mrs. Kolash's last words of wisdom to you tonight...when accepting a dare or issuing a challenge do not be afraid to win (even if it is against your school principal and it involves a fire truck with lots of water 😂😂😂)!!
SLS Class of 2026, go make your mark in the world and remember "Once a Crusader, Always a Crusader" 💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛

Graduation Night (post #2) for the Class of 2026!! We started with a prayer, some parting words of wisdom for Mrs. Kolash and Ms. Deutsch and a tribute to their parents.
Ms. Madelyn Hilling, a SLS grad Class of 2017 and our current third grade teacher gave a great address to the students and their families. Thank you, Ms. Hilling, for sharing your own memories as an SLS student and reminding our Crusaders to not the let world change who you are and who God created you to be. 💚💛

Our littlest Crusaders in our Pre-3 class spent the morning celebrating with their friends and families on our playground! They had an ice cream treat, got their faces painted and played some games. Hugs and high fives were given and received and a few tears were shed.
We hope you have a great summer and we look forward to seeing you in the front hallway next year as a big PreK kid!! 💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛

Our 5th grade students hosted their own museum this afternoon! Their science class had everyone making a map/diagram of the different systems in the body (circulation, digestion, immune, muscular/skeletal, nervous, respiratory). Once those were completed, they put them on display and invited the 3rd and 4th grades for a visit. Nice job fifth grade!!
