SafeNet’s Volunteer Counselor Advocate Training Program will be starting soon. Have a special talent? Like children? SafeNet has something for you. Some volunteer opportunities require some training, but provide lots of rewards. If you’re interested in working directly with victims of abuse, please contact SafeNet at 455-1774 and ask for our Volunteer Coordinator. Our first class begins on April 23rd 2012. Whatever your talent or passion—we have an opportunity for you.

SafeNet releases Domestic Violence Numbers for 2011 Total Hotline Calls 2446 Victims – 1,686 Women 90 Men and 383 Children served in our emergency shelter legal, residential and our non-residential counseling programs. These numbers do not include a average of 125 continuing recipients receiving services each month
