Join PACA for Lights Over the Roof, a rooftop evening built around Erie’s July 3 fireworks. Doors open at 7:30 PM with live music all night from the DBM trio and Midnight Frolic, food available from Tariq’s Best Philly, and a complimentary bar. The Lights Over Lake Erie fireworks light up the sky at 10 PM, with a perfect view from our rooftop. Free to attend with donations gratefully accepted. Weatherproof: the event moves indoors if it rains.

The Union Pacific Big Boy steaming past PACA

The world’s largest steam locomotive is rolling through Erie, and we’ve got a roof.

Union Pacific’s Big Boy No. 4014 passes through downtown this Tuesday morning, and PACA’s rooftop is one of the best seats in town. Come up, bring a coffee, and watch 1.2 million pounds of history roll by.

The actual pass is quick, so once we spot it on the tracker we’ll wave everyone to the rail. Bring a friend and a camera.
