After much prayer and reflection, Pastor Nichole Schreiber has announced her resignation as Lead Pastor of Erie First Assembly of God, concluding ten years of faithful ministry and leadership. Her final Sunday as Lead Pastor will be October 25, 2026.
Pastor Nichole senses God leading her into a new season focused on community outreach, mentoring, teaching, and investing in the next generation. She has accepted a position with a local university and also plans to pursue her doctorate.
As Erie First enters this transition, Pastor Daniel Brooker will serve as Interim Lead Pastor alongside our incredible team of pastors and leaders.
Pastor Nichole shared, “Erie First was Jesus’ church before I became its pastor, and it will remain His church after my time as Lead Pastor is complete. Joel and I have tremendous confidence in Pastor Daniel and believe deeply that the best days of Erie First are still ahead.”
We are incredibly grateful for Pastor Nichole, Joel, and the Schreiber family and their decade of faithful service and love for Erie First.
We will celebrate Pastor Nichole and her family on Sunday, October 25, following the service. More details to come.

COMMUNION CONFERENCE ’26
