Aria is a beautiful bunny with a curious and playful personality who enjoys her exercise time doing binkies. Through our Outreach Program, she visits the community and brightens many lives. Toni & King, Lottie, Milan, Zeppelin, and Delta enjoyed a pleasant visit with residents at West Lake Woods.

It's especially important to keep a close watch on your rabbit during the warm months. Rabbits don't tolerate heat well and can die from being overheated. Temperatures above 77°F (25°C) are dangerous for rabbits. Heat exhaustion can be an issue for all rabbits, but the fuzzy, old, and very young are at a higher risk.
Recognize the signs of heat exhaustion so you can jump into action if needed, which include fast, shallow breathing; wetness around the nose; listlessness; hot ears; and/or tossing their head back while breathing rapidly from an open mouth.
Relocate your rabbit to a cool place, dampen their ears with cool water, give them cold water to drink, and call a rabbit savvy veterinarian for further instructions. DO NOT submerge a rabbit in cold water, as this could cause them to go into shock.

Floppy and Whisper were adopted today, starting a new chapter in their forever home. We are so happy for both of them and their forever family.

Obsidian came to E.A.R.S. looking for a friend to bond with. He found that forever friend in Lunabelle. We are so happy for Lunabelle and her new forever family.

Volunteers from our Community Outreach Program took Addie, Allie, Milan, Quinn, Aria, Toni, and King to Springhill today. It is always rewarding to see the residents enjoying the bunnies when they visit.
