Grace
2025

Cyanotype collage on paper, photogram of the rose of Sharon, framed in 11x14.

This piece felt delicate, like the flower is gently falling or rather floating through the air to land peacefully in still water, surrounded by other petals. The movement is graceful, intentional and feminine. 🌸🌊

Available, DM to collect.

Four Seasons
2025

Colors of transition, Summer, Fall, Winter to Spring. Earthy shades signal to our brains when we’re entering new seasons. In this piece, I toned a dozen cyanotypes of the rose of Sharon and mounted the paper on wood panel. I used Madder Root for the reds, Marigolds for the yellow, sodium carbonate for the teals, green tea for purples and fenugreek seed for the greens.

Some were toned in community on world Cyanotype day at with , and .studio . Others were toned in my studio, quietly and curiously.

Each piece can be sold separately, or there is a discount for a set. 🌊🌸 8 are still available. DM if interested. 💙

I’m excited to continue adding these rich hues to my cyanotypes. It’s all just one big experiment of self expression and reflections with nature. 🍃

Sand Flower
2025

Cyanotype on paper a raw canvas, photogram of blue mistflower, exposed on Presque Isle in Erie PA, toned in sodium carbonate, framed in 16x20”.

Available

Created during a season of young motherhood, my practice became a needed place of rest, curiosity, and renewal. Play and experimentation guide the work— exposing cyanotypes in the sun and layering watercolor and organic teas over their shapes. This hands-on, responsive process allows each piece to grow in its own direction, echoing the rhythms found in nature.

I aim to highlight quiet beauty, invite presence, and reflect the ways faith, environment, and intuition shape how we move through the world.

The Offing
2025, toned cyanotype on paper, mounted on cradled wood panel, 18x24
Available at

“The offing” is the place where the sea meets the sky or the distant part of the sea, and can represent something good coming in the near future.

For this piece, I collaged three cyanotypes, the larger paper is a photogram of my tomato plant that I toned to appear as the sky, and the bottom two pieces were exposed at the beach of Presque Isle with salt and soap to create the water-like textures.

Together, creating an abstract seascape. 🌊

The offing is part of a larger body of work that I created over the summer as a quiet escape from the demands of day-to-day life. I created many cyanotypes outside and then intuitively paired papers and fabrics together to create the final works of art. 10+ pieces are on display as part of a 2 person show “RECESS” with .studio .

Between Cast and Catch
Toned cyanotype on cotton paper and cheesecloth
24x36”
Available

Story time!!!! This past summer I sought to capture the shadows of my tomato plant during different times of day. As the sun passed, it shifted the power of the light which created ethereal shapes on the paper. After toning, the movement originally created by a plant in the sun, started looking more like water movement. I then layered toned cheesecloth on top and sealed with gel medium.

The final piece is a playful expression of a season of self discovery, waiting and trusting. The title brings parallels to the biblical account in the book of John 21:6.

The phrase”between cast and catch” refers to brief moment of discouragement, right before Jesus performs a miracle. In the account, the resurrected Jesus tells his disciples, after a fruitless night of fishing, to cast their nets on the right side of the boat, resulting in a miraculous, huge catch of fish. Their obedience even when it felt counterintuitive was blessed, and ultimately it revealed to them that Jesus was in fact resurrected. For me, creating this art was an expression of trust during an uncertain season, and naming this piece was declaring the good things to come.

This piece along with others from the series are on display at 1020 Collective through 12/21, and available for collection. 🌊💙

The studio looks a bit wild these days as .studio and I finish our artwork for our upcoming show.

My body of work is experimental and expressive in nature. I’m playing with new fabrics, textures and collage techniques to add dimension as well as softness to my work.

Im entering a new season of my life, recessing back, finding a new rhythm—softer, quieter and a bit unknown.

Save the date Nov 21, 6-8pm for our opening reception. 🤍⭐️ we’d love to see you there!
