Some of our Career Preparation & Internship students participated in a young adult financial simulation through our partnership with Junior Achievement. We had some positive financial and budgeting conversations!

Proud of all our EHS Works students - Jocelyn joined us this semester and absolutely hit the ground running!
Jocelyn Ramirez from Enid High was our Spotlight Student at last night's board meeting. She spoke on how hard she worked during her high school years and how thankful she is for the support from her family and EHS admin.

EHS Works students volunteered to read at elementary schools this week for area Across America week! We love to see our students going back to the community & volunteering their time to serve others!
Before the cold weather rolled in our EHS Works students were focusing on the transferable skill of COLLABORATION - they split into groups & had the task of building the tallest tower to support a large marshmallow out of only 20 spaghetti noodles, 3’ of tape, & 3’ of string!

Our Career Preparation students practiced interview skills with a speed dating activity! Students had 45 seconds to answer the interview questions then shifted to their next interviewer.
Students were given a fictitious job scenario for the company Orbit Concierge a company that manages civilian space tourism experiences as a potential Mission Experience Coordinator.
Mrs. Dunham heard lots of students declaring that they would hire their interviewee throughout the activity!

I spy some EHS Works students! We love to see our students giving back! Along with this we had volunteers at the McKinley Elementary & Taft Elementary fall carnivals! These kids get it! 👏🏻

These EHS Works Internship students have all been working hard with our community partners this 1st quarter. We're proud of their hard work & thankful for community support! These students represent a small fraction of the nearly 200 students participating in one of our 3 EHS Works pathways.

The EHS Works Career Preparation Seminar students recently presented their Career Compass paths with visual aids - Senior Breana Taff plans to become a Veterinarian and specialize in genetics. She brought her pet python as her visual aid. Breana currently works at 7 Brew to earn her EHS Works credits.
EHS Works partnered with the Enid Plainsmen and Pacer Golf to get some students to the UCO campus for a tour and to learn about their PGA Golf Management program! Incredible technology & exciting expansion in the works!
