One of things I love most about a having a Main St shop in the vibrant little city of Beacon NY is that I get to meet so many interesting people, and occasionally run into "people from my past" or "people who know people from my past." It is a joyous welcoming space. I was so lucky to meet Debbie Nigro who came with her partner Dave, who helped me design my space several years ago. Dave's work was all remote, so it was thrilling to have him see the real-time outcome of the design.
Thank you Debbie for being such an amazing host and asking the pointed questions to keep me on target.

Love bagels? Make sure you cut them safely! Years before my life became I was cutting a bagel and landed myself in the ER in Maine somewhere. Not pleasant at all! Cold weather reminds me of that because at times the scar still hurts and that was nearly 20 years ago. Here’s a little lesson on how to keep yourself out of the ER if you plan on eating a bagel.
